Sabear (pron:"Say-bear"): A very docile mammal, closely related to what we know as bears with some feline and sloth features. Not a domesticated animal but it's easy going temperament and friendly attitude often attracts the hearts of anyone with enough money to obtain one as a pet. If raised from birth by a human they can be quite loyal. Eats mostly bugs and small mammals but are known to be able to digest pretty much anything. They grow to be about 2 1/2 feet tall and when standing on hind legs about 5 feet tall.

So I've had this pink character in the back of my head for a week or two and darn it I had no idea what kind of animal she was going to be. ;o; so I started doodling and bam I came up with my own original species the "Sabear". I made tons of sketches of this one over the past few days but my scanner isn't working so I had to draw this in sai. XD


I always wanted to make my own species/own one but dang I'm sorry like 90% of them are horribly designed and just stupid as hell. The only original species that's decent in my opinion is the Crux. v_v Sorry don't h8, my opinion.

Please pay attention to her colors and markings
The only part that is light pink is her main and underside
her stripes (execpt for face and back legs) come in 3s, they are not random so please only use the amount I used.
Her anatomy is very bear like, as her limbs are thicker and she walks like a bear. She sits and can stand just like a bear. Pretty much Sabears have a slim bearlike body with slightly longer legs. Do not draw her with dog/cat anatomy. (yes I know she looks a little off the traditional sketches are better but this is pretty much what I had in mind)

About the character herself:
She wears a collar as she happens to be someone's pet.
I haven't worked out too much of her personality yet, it's in the works.
No name yet either. XD It'll come in time no worries!


What I'm doing with Sabears: As of now It's a closed species. If you want one and you're not a friend I'll do a custom for $5.(keep in mind can make their own eventually that's only if you don't want to wait a month or two for a guide or want one from me. I'm not going to be a money whore and force you to get one from me unlike most peeps) Super duper close friends can get one for free from me or you can wait until I make a guide on how to properly make one.
